Life story

When I read "My Secret Wish List" by 'Preeti Shenoy' I really felt so good the way Diksha led her life finally taking good decisions....

But I found a real story exactly same as this story...but I wish the girl who got married a few days back doesn't  have a same ending as such in the novel...

Diksha, a high school girl hardly having 16 yrs, was caught with her boyfriend kissing in the late night at some science fare...which made her parents punish her in such a way by getting her married of at the age of 19 to an elderly idiot, who is around 10 yrs elder than her...

She'll get married to him thinking him to be a good company for her and also to gain back the trust of her parents on her.....She never thought she would become just a servent for her husband to cook food when he's hungry, take care of her 9 yr old son and also be a pleasure for her husband in bed room....
She could never dare to think about her own life, her career and never dared to raise her voice at her husband......even her 9 yr old son noticed her suffering..which never caught the eye of her husband...

But this left her with a heavy pain crept deep her heart....

She wrote her Secret Wish List at her cousin's home one day....that made her follow her heart again....

She did what all she wished.....she also found her boyfriend again, did many other things she wished to do as per the secret wish list she made....

And finally divorsed her heartless, cold and obnoxious Husband and married of her Boyfriend....and lived happily ever after...along with her son....

Now I'm recalling all this story as I found a Life story which is almost same to this story...

My friend Madhu(22)'s cousin, Sumi...She's 19 yrs old....
We met her when she came to join polytechnic...2 yrs back....
She's from a remote area of Tamil Nadu....
She's good looking and very active girl....

But the only thing she did was, talking to a guy closely....This seemed suspicious to her parents who wanted to get her married off as soon as she completes her course....

She came to know that her marriage was fixed just 15 days before her marriage.....She've never talked to the groom she's going to live with fo the rest of her life.....

Out of curiosity,we all attended her marriage...
I was really ashtanished to find the groom very stout and seems far aged than her...the thing is he's 29 when Sumi is just 19.....

I found Sumi smiling all through the marriage and other times while the Groom never gave a minimal formality smile to all...not even for photos and videos....

He looked so stern and serious....
(Its mostly looked like a child marriage...for me...)

Sumi talked more jovially...

Its so unfair to her parents to simply get rid of her or punish her in this way.....Don't they have faith on their own daughter...Can't they trust her....

I wish her story shoul not end in such a way thats ended in the novel....
I wish her Husband be friendly and loving to her.....

I really  cross my fingers for this....

How India is still this conservative in some parts of the world....Don't the parents love their daughters??? How do the parents think that their daughters are burden for them???
How come its fine if a guy does the same...and having many girl friends...or flirting with many is not facing any such restrictions.???
Don't the girl have any rights to choose the person she have to live with for the rest of her life???
Why there comes a difference in treating a city side girl with a village side girl???
Is it really such a sin girls nd guys bing friends???

Do you think India is really developing????

I really want to know all your opinion on this matter....!!!
